Established in May 2006, Suffolk Maids are pleased to help a great number of customers with their domestic cleaning and ironing. We work extremely hard to select the housekeeper that best suits the individual needs of the customer.

Our housekeepers are able to offer cleans on a daily or weekly basis depending on the household requirements, dealing with all of the domestic cleaning and ironing tasks around the home.

We take pride in finding much needed work for hundreds of workers in the local community. To qualify for registration, the housekeeper is interviewed in their home and must have significant experience as a cleaner/housekeeper. The housekeeper must provide two references which are followed up by our recruitment team. Once accepted the housekeeper is added to our register.

The housekeeper introduced to you will, subject to your acceptance, will be your regular housekeeper. Should your housekeeper take a holiday or become unwell, we will provide you with a relief housekeeper from our register where possible.

Housekeepers are able to perform most of the usual tasks within the home, including ironing and those ‘on rotation’ jobs such as cleaning skirting boards and washing the inside of windows.

As part of our allocation process we ensure that a customer with pets in the home is provided with a housekeeper who is comfortable working with animals. The housekeeper will be given the opportunity to meet your pets whilst you are home and you will be able to discuss any particular requirements they may have.
